A film that really fascinated me was “The Perfect Storm” and the story of the swordfishing boat Andrea Gail. The boat capsized in a tropical storm off Newfoundland with a crew of six on its way back to its home port of Gloucester, Massachusetts, in 1991.
I have always been interested in boats so it was natural that I built a replica of the boat – Andrea Gail.
